## Artist information folder
_LMS_ looks for `artist.nfo` files to retrieve additional artist information, such as biography, sort name, and MusicBrainz ArtistID. These files can be placed anywhere within the scanned libraries. The format follows the same structure as Kodi's, as detailed here: https://kodi.wiki/view/NFO_files/Artists
Additionally, the folder where the `artist.nfo` file is located is used to retrieve the artist image, allowing a centralized location for managing artist metadata.
